Loki Explores Earth, Gets Addicted to Video Games

so this idea is after avengers 1, Loki broke out of prison and is just a general pain in the ass for the avengers, less than an actual villain. Things like snow in central park, because Loki was in the mood for colder weather. Once he sat the whole of new york under water after he visited venice and deemed the city way more beautiful than new york and that it's way more relaxed if you can just go out of your house and jump into a boat.
In general Loki just looks at anything humanity has to offer and takes some ideas to the maximum, just having fun, while the avengers are all exasperated. (Tony loves it. When Loki flooded New York he sat down in a boat with Loki and drove around a bit until Loki had enough and drained all the water again)
At some point Loki finds out about video games and he starts playing out those scenarios in real life, oftentimes roping the avengers into it by casting illusions of game characters on them.
He also most definitely loves memes (his favorite would be the grumpy cat and he definitely got his own cat)
So when suddenly Loki disappears for a whole month without any activity, of course the avengers worry. It's not like Loki had actually done anything destructive in the past year or so.
Well, thankfully Tony knows where Loki lives (pretty sure Tony just brought him home once cause they wanted to continue talking about something even after they "defeated" Loki for the day) and Loki pays the god a visit.
Lo and behold, Loki is sitting on his laptop, face glued to the screen playing something.
Loki says something along the lines of "Why if it isn't Stark. I am deeply sorry, but I do not have time for your mortal worries currently. I am trying to, as you mortals say it, 100% this game. I must say it is very addictive"
And Tony looks over Loki's shoulder and he's playing cookie clicker.
"What the fuck, Lokes? Have you been playing cookie clicker for the whole goddamn month?!"
"What if so? I am sure you mortals enjoy the break from my mischief, is it not so?"
"As fucking if! You need to stop playing that game and go outside again, your complexion will only get paler in here"
and then Tony just steals Loki's mouse and wipes his whole savegame
"There, I did it for you. Let's go out and eat some pizza or ice cream together, yeah?"

Fighting is Flirting/Courting in Asgard

In light of the flirting in The general chat here is an idea: so Tony has been openly flirting with Loki but every time he tries he just gets brushed off because Loki doesn’t know what flirting is because Asgard doesn’t have it nor has anyone tried to court him. So on Asgard there version of flirting/courting is just fighting who ever you like a bunch of times to show that you can protect them more than they can themselves. So eventually Thor takes pity on him and tells Tony what he has to do. Of course Tony is not physically strong enough to beat a god so he just plays games of wit and intelligence with Loki to show off his intelligence and that he can keep up with Loki that way. Of course it works because Loki always liked brain over brawn (and smart is the new sexy).

Tony is the star of the science department of this particular academy while Loki is at law school. Unfortunately, there is an age-old feud going on between the faculties. The natural science students look down on the law students for being in what they think is a soft science and tease them for being just some kind of glorified secretaries whose only job it is to file their future patents in the right way. The law school student's traditional reply ist like, 'Is that so? You'll come running to my law firm soon enough to beg for some funding when your stupid lab can't even afford to pay their electricity bill anymore.' So, lots of bad blood there. What will the bbs do?

Loki appreciates the hot drink bc it's winter and it's freezing. Tony has no idea that Loki, unlike most law students, is poor. He grew up as a foster child and even though he stayed with the famous Borsson family for a while, they did nothing for him. Everybody thinks he's bought his way into the Academy, but the truth is, Loki can hardly afford to buy the textbooks for his classes, lives far away from the prestigious part of town where the Academy is located and has to commute approximately two hours a day. But he would never admit this - telling Rich Boy Tony he has to bring homemade sandwiches to school bc he can't buy himself lunch at the cafeteria? Never!

But Tony starts to pull some strings so Loki can make more money. Maria and her circle of rich friends and their daughters (who think Tony would make an eligible husband) are easy targets who willingly follow (and buy through) Loki's blog to get the rich bachelor's attention. But the person Tony is really after is Frigga! Loki's former foster mummy runs her own cooking show and feels guilty about the raw deal Loki got from her family. (just delaying the wedding a little) Btw: Frigga taught Loki his basic cooking skills and got him interested in making his own condiments when nobody else in the family showed any interest in him.

But can we just appreciate the idea of Loki turning bright red whenever someone is affectionate with him? Not like in Thor's brutish hugs and slaps on the back (those actually bruise on him) but in Tony falling asleep next to him & using this forearm/shoulder or gasp lap as a pillow. And only when he notices it happen, so when Rhodey or Pepper or Bruce join them & distract Loki form Tony drapping himself all over Lolo, he's actually calm & they wouldn't notice if it weren't for the fact that Loki flinches whenever any of them get too close

Loki has no friends on Asgard, that's no secret. He only has Thor's friends as "friends" so he ... never really learned how to make friends. And it shows. Idk he and Thor are on Earth (dunno why) and Loki just ... Doesn't know how to behave. Like, he knows what to do/say on an ambassador trip or sth but not ... in a general setting

So he either stays completley silent and is barely noticeable or he just starts talking out of the nowhere, not realising whether this is a fitting moment or not. And sometimes it fits sometimes it doesn't. But he notices that he isn't all too welcomed here again and the avengers roll their eyes when he's in the room or just ignore him when he's there and it doesn't really matter to Thor because well, he has his friends, ergo it's Loki's friends as well.

Tony starts to notice that Loki withdraws and he ... feels bad, pity, whatever and tries to include Loki more but he's alone in this, and Tony often forgets that Loki actually is a mage and can be a terrifying badass, leading to starstruck Tony and absolutely head over heels Loki

Gaaaaaaahh the awkwardness of Tony trying to talk with Lolo & them both being super awkward because they have no idea what to do so they end up just silently standing in a corner together... Crack: Tony Buys Villain!Loki a Goldfish for his Birthday

Guys I just want a cracky fic where Tony secretly becomes friends with Loki because Thor remarked that Loki doesn't have any friends. So during their friendship Loki attacks dramatically decrease and even if there is one it is pretty harmless if not annoying. So Tony makes a friendship milestone by celebrating Loki's birthday with him. The thing is he has no idea what to get Loki and asks JARVIS to find something. So after celebrating Loki's birthday they go back to the tower to find a wrapped present for Loki. It turns out to be a goldfish. Loki loves and adores this fish and Tony is confused why JARVIS thought this was a good gift but roles with it anyway. They continue to be friends until one day there is an alert. Loki has destroyed a whole block of New York and the avengers disabled. He rushes to the scene only to find the Avengers in various state of injuries and Loki crying over a goldfish corpse with some broken glass and a puddle of water nearby. It turns out Clint was out surveying when he spotted Loki walking around with a goldfish bowl toward a pet shop ( because he wanted to buy a bigger tank and a friend for his fish) afraid that Loki as here to harm civilians he attacked Loki making him drop the goldfish bowl. Clint called in reinforcements and the battled Loki as he tried to make his way over to the remains of the broken goldfish bowl to save the dying fish. Loki didn't make it on time and the fish died then Loki went crazy and destroyed the block. Tony tries to console Loki over the dead fish and tells him he can always get another one. Loki gets mad and states that this fish was special because Tony gave it to him. So in the end Tony and Loki go to the underworld to retrieve to fish's soul and bring it back to life.

So that is where the blood oath comes in. Loki spent all this time hunting down Tony to get his blood and the end result was "Tony makes a terrible meal" so he he swears to force Tony to eat healthy everyday so all his effort would be worth it in the end
Loki literally has to drag Tony out of his lab and sit him down at a table and watch him eat every bit of the food he prepares which are full a vegetables and other nutritional foods.
Eventually Loki becomes a master chef to prepare meals Tony will actually eat without threats of bodily harm to person and lab
So when Loki finally gets a good blood meal from Tony. Tony asks him to stay because his food is so good + he might have feelings for the vampire who cared enough about his well being even if it was because he wanted to eat Tony.

Ok but that kinda makes me think of another idea. What if Loki were doing some kind of spell and for whatever reason he needs Tony's blood (protection spell?). What he doesn't account for, because he doesn't know (because like no one knows), is the trace amounts of palladium in his blood left over from when the arc reactor was killing him. This either serves to make the spell waaay more powerful than anyone anticipated or backfire entirely.

On a less ' ha ha! ' lets point fingers and laugh/mocking note. Imagine Loki having Tony make an exact replica of Mjolnir, even going as far to enchant it so that Thor is the only one who can wield it after Hela destroyed it. He has to express to Thor that he can't actually channel lightning through it otherwise it will melt, but it's still nice for him to admire or w/e.

@KasumiAFKGod you know the whole demon arm things reminds me of the first anime I watched a long time ago called Soul eater. In this anime there where Meisters and Demon Weapons. Demon wepons are Humans who can take on the form of traditional weapons and Meisters are people who wield them. Taking this from the wiki page: the series revolves around three teams, each consisting of a weapon meister and (at least one) weapon that can transform into a humanoid.

Trying to make the latter a "death scythe" and thus fit for use by the academy's headmaster Shinigami, the personification of death, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch, in that order; otherwise, they will have to start all over again. Both have these things called a soul wave length

Also from the wiki page : The Soul Wavelength is also important, being the very mechanic that enables a weapon to pair up with a meister. A meister and weapon are comparably worked like a electric guitar and an AMP: the sound (Soul
Wavelength) that comes from an electric guitar (Meister) is rather faint.
However, when connected to an AMP (Weapon), the Soul Wavelength is amplified, giving it lots of power. In short, the combination of two Soul Wavelength combine and amplifies the meister's wavelength and, in turn, gives them power and gives them the ability to achieve a Soul Resonance.

Depending on the level in which the individual possess, a madness wavelength can vary in effect whether it draws others into their own Madness or achieve a specific effect.

A person named Asura was the first Kishin. After the events of Death becoming wary of Asura's actions, he stripped Asura of his skin and sealed his soul and body within it by making a sack. Death did this to contain all of the Madness that the Kishin Asura emitted, as well as his soul and body.

Now to the actually prompt: Basically I want a fic where Loki is a meister and a witch with his demon weapon Tony + the avenger team have to go fight the Kishin but Loki is slowly corrupted by the madness and angst ensues
Or we can totally ditch that and make Loki the weapon or do a different story line . I just think the idea behind the anime was pretty cool

So I'm reading a fic & Loki goes to look for Thor during his banishment & knocks on Jane's door, but teleports away before she can open the door. So besides Loki accidentally pulling off a childish prank, my brain got an idea what would happen if Loki stayed. Mainly him saying "Hi, I'm looking for my fool of a brother. Loki Becomes a Villain To Get An Appointment With Tony

Loki comes to Midgar before the entire Thor 1 fiasco and somehow ends up learning about Anthony Stark & is immediately interested in him. So he asks around how he could get to meet him & one overworked secretary (or just make that be Nat) sasses him with "Well if you don't have an appointment you're not meeting mr Stark. Well unless you're a super villain." So Loki decides to become a super villain.

He googles it a bit so he can be a proper villain & of course internet being internet, Lolo stumbles across a line saying "Super heroes fight super villains" & since Lolo is from Asgard, he misunderstands that as a courting process for Midgar's most desirable single people. Magneto & prof X actually serve him as an example of successful courtship while he sees Joker as a very enthusiastic suitor for Batman.

Also by now he was really interested in Tony because the guy is even smarter than he's good looking, not to mention Loki can see through his public face mask, so he wants to get this courting right. But Lolo is also a good person and doesn't want people to get hurt, so he ends up doing pranks that are masked as world ending threaths (eg. he threathens to blow up a bomb & it turns out it was actually a glitter bomb)

And so Tony ends up being called to fight Loki every week but it always turns out to be a prank. Normally Tony would just ignore the guy, but damn Lolo's pranks are damn hilarious and instead of fighting the villain with his fists, Loki

So eventually they become really good friends and Loki one day says that he's sad that he'll miss their fight next week due to his brother's coronation, but that he'll make it up for that when they next see each other. Tony casually suggests a dinner after Loki comes back & Lolo turns bight red as he says he would enjoy that greatly.

Well then the coronation catastrophy happens, but without Loki actually having anything to do with it because he was too busy daydreaming about what he should get for Tony for their dinner & trying not to turn red as a tomatoe when imagining them gasp touching each other's hands/face. So Loki learns he's a frost giant the hard way (maybe the frosties who sneaked into the palace stummble across the throne room so Loki & Thor don't have to go to Jotunheim for that to happen because Lolo would be very likely to skipp that in favour of returning to Tony) & Thor's banished to Midgar while Loki is being hysterical.

Frigga tries to calm him down but in his mind, he just wants his older brother who always calmed him down after nightmares and panic attacks he had when they were little (up to ~15 in human years), so Frigga tells him Thor is on Midgar. That makes Loko come to his senses because Tony is on Midgar and Thor is foolish enough to destroy the planet in an effort to get back and Loki needs to protect Tony so he teleports directly into Tony's living room (preferably with Tony on the couch phoning Rhodey & whining about his date because he's nervous) & Tony sees something is wrong so he tries to comfort him.

At this point Loki breaks down again and just starts talking & somewhere between "I'm actually blue and cold" and "please don't hate me for being a monster" there's something along the line of "Thor is better fighter than me and he would make a lot better super villain and you would love him. Everyone loves him. But I don't want you to love him because then you'll hate me" and Tony is just bad with comforting people in a middle of a mental breakdown, but he does reasue Loki that he'll always be his favourite as he cuddles him until Loki falls asleep curled up next to Tony.

Tony phones Rhodey again, this time whispering because he doesn't want to wake Lolo (also he doesn't feel like moving away now that he has his crush using him as a pillow). Rhodey is just done with everything because "damn Tony I've been listening to you whining about this guy for months now and that's months longer than what you ever spent thinking about single person"
So when Loki wakes up, Tony cuddles him a bit longer before asking him if he's feeling better. Lolo of course turns bright red because he noticed Tony's hand playing with his hair (theatrically falling unconscious), but Tony just asumes the redness is results of Loki's belly rumbling. So Tony tries to be a good host and goes to find some cerial because that the only edible stuff in the penthouse and he's not feeding Loki stale Chinese leftovers.

He feeds Loki and has him explain what happened now that he's more calm, so Lolo talks & tries to be objective and cuts out all the "Thor would make a better villain but I was here first" but Tont still remembers that part so when Loki's done, he just says "Ok so you can turn blue and cold - perfect for cuddles during hot weather. Is there anything else I should know? Like do you have any allergies that I should watch out for when we'll go out for our dinner date?"

Loki is once again bright red because cuddles and a date & he kinda freaks out because it's getting late and they scheduled the dinner for right after Loki gets back, but Tony has everything under control and tells him that for today they can just curl up on the couch and watch a movie & have their date next day.

Tony absentmindedly asks J to look for Thor. The of use author's godly powers caused Jane to miss Thor so he stayed strangled in the desert.

So during the movie Tony is very affectionate and keeps petting Loki's hair & Lolo ends up acting like a humanoid cat as he keps leaning into Tony's hand. Tony of course melts, especially because Loki keeps randomly blushing from the most innocent gestures (Tony was actually afraid he broke Loki after he froze with his eyes wide and cheeks red after Tony kissed his hair)

They fall asleep on the couch and the next day is pretty much a day long date during which they totally forgot about Thor being strangled in the desert even if J told them about it in the morning.

After the date Tony kissed Loki's cheek, making him panick and teleport away to the appartment he got when he first got to Earth.

Later during the night he actually remembered why he was back to Midgar again & teleports back in Tony's penthouse. Jarvis tells Tony that Lolo dropped by and Tony practically teleports from his workshop. Loki tells Tony about Thor, who got even more lost in the desert, & J informs them that he has his location so Tony sends out a rescue for Thor. He and Loki quickly forget about Thor again because they have a lot more important things to talk about.

Specifically, scheduling the second date.

Crack: Loki Attracts Stray Cats and Dotes on Them

Guys I have a silly/crack cat story idea
So Loki attract stray cats like moths to flame. He has a huge weakness for cats and takes every one of them home to the tower until the tower is full of them and Loki is adamant that they stay. He spoils them rotten and the cats are very protective of Loki. Every Night they disappear into his room where he keeps a bunch of cat Toys and climbing towers.

There is even a box for the cats to climb into that transports them to his cleared out magical pocket dimension so they have more space. So one day Clint makes a joke at Loki’s expense and hundreds of cats turn to look at him and hiss and leave well placed hair balls for Clint and rub up against his clothes so his uniform is covered in cat hair and even scratching him when he gets close and Loki’s trying not to cry because he just loves his kitties.

One day some of the cats try to follow Loki for a mission and Tony jokes that the cats are basically Loki’s new army/help. Later Loki disappears for a week in his room and Tony worries that he might of hurt Loki’s feelings. Loki comes out of his room for the next villain alert trailed by the same cats from earlier decked out in mini cat battle armor.

The team thinks this is a joke but Loki is very serious. They are afraid when that the cats are going to get hurt during the battle and almost faint when the cat's are threatened and they grow 50 times their size or so and their teeth and claws elongate into knife length (thanks to magic!). The cats and Loki make quick work of the villain who was unprepared for fighting cats wearing armor.

When they get back Loki is so proud and treats to cats to lots of petting, expensive fish and a little catnip. The other cats catch on that the way to get more attention and food is to help out Loki and start joining in themselves. Eventually so many cats join in the Avengers don’t even have to join in the fight and just help direct the cats around. Even the evilest villains are reluctant to hurt cats. In the end Tony is just thankful that Loki and his army of cats are on his side.

I call it "Battle Cats" and it make 100% no sense :owosneaky:

I was imagining starting it out as Loki chatting with probably Tony and Bruce about science and it turns into an argument about how his magic and earth science aren’t compatible so Loki of course wants to show them up and discovers a brand new phylum of archaea easily and shocks them.

I can totally see continuing it by having Loki mess with it and turn it into an agent of chaos so I like that :joy:

So it was created by Loki :owosneaky: and who ever drinks becomes magical for as long as the body doesn’t purge it. (And people build an natural defense against it because humans are not magical) so it disappears within a week. However in week it is not possible to fully control the magic
So random magical events start popping up cause by the infected
